Report of Login to Notes = Windows login

Hi,

On same Notes clients set (File > Security > UserSecurity) option "Login to Notes using your operating system login"

Can i know on server which notes client with this options and which without?

Of course i can see it in each client- but we have it about 1000...

Answer

First the client needs to be installed with that user option.  If you use silent installs check the package.  Once you confirmed you that the service is installed  read this technote on assigning it via a policy https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSKTMJ_8.5.3/com.ibm.help.domino.admin85.doc/H_USING_NOTES_SINGLE_LOGON_OVER.html

 

 

Perhaps you windows support team can scan all the pc and see if that service is installed and running? I Dont think the user can enable that service with out proper rights so them may need to create a script to push out to the pcs to register and enable that service

We have SCCM and it's can say to us about the services on pc.
